Amafirlian alternative for a rhombicuboctahedron. It contains 18 Amafirlian squares.
Building Instructions[]
- It is best to build the 18 Amafirlian squares first.
- Connect 13 of them as a folded out structure on a flat surface.
- Make sure to have opposite polarities when connecting them.
- Make sure the orientation of the Amafirlian squares is the same throughout.
- Gently fold the squares upwards, connecting them together into the bottom part of the model.
- Connect the 5 remaining squares into a cross, and put it on top of the bottom part.
- Again make sure to have opposite polarities when connecting them.
- Again make sure the orientation of the Amafirlian squares is the same throughout the model.
