This polyhedron consists of 8 enneagons with 6 squares and 24 triangles in between. It is constructed around a truncated cube. In this case the enneagons are distorted, so the 9 rods are not in a plane anymore.
Building Instructions[]
- Build a truncated cube.
- Attach 5 rods to each of the outside edges that is not part of a triangle, forming 12 tetrahedrons.
- Build 6 modules, consisting of a square with 4 triangles around it.
- You can leave the outer spheres of the triangles out.
- Connect the modules with the tetrahedrons.
