Built before the advent of panels, this is a satisfying model. All of the internal supporting pyramids make solid contact with their outer shell spheres, and you can easily handle the model when complete.

For the Geomag purist, there is a cheat here: the main vertices are built with 5/8" spheres so that the rods can sit squarely on the nodes. (from a precursor to Geomag called Roger's Connection). The regular Geomag balls are only 1/2" diameter, so this model looks chunky, and feels like a cannonball.

Vital statistics: 60 large vertices, 42 inner vertices, 300 geomag bars in these colors: 120 yellow bars for the outer shell, 120 silver bars for square pyramids, 60 red bars for pentagonal support.
