This is one of the 8 convex deltahedra. It is also Johnson solid J84. It can also be called a (0,4,4,0)-deltahedron.
Building Instructions[]
- Make a pair of linked triangles (sharing one edge).
- Take eight rods (all joined together) and "stitch" them all around the edges of the two linked triangles (two rods per sphere on the edge).
- Make another pair of linked triangles and connect to the new sphere-less edge, perpendicular to the first pair.
